Thank you for your interest in joining us at Discover Flying R/C. 

We welcome new members of all ages and genders whether you are new to the hobby or you are already experienced.

And we are always happy to welcome renewing members for another year of flying fun.

We have added two new membership types we hope help ease joining and reduce costs for households. The first is a family membership. A family can have an adult, one junior member, and add additional family junior members at no additional cost. The second new membership type we are calling a social member. We have members who want to support the club, have field privileges, and attend social events however do not fly and do not want to be AMA members. For these people the social membership is now an option.

We have four memberships available; Adult, Social, Junior (to age 19) and Family. Memberships run on a calendar year, annual basis (Jan - Dec).

Current fees;

Effective 2023, Discover Flying R/C no longer requires or provides membership cards. Upon receipt of your membership or renewal request, payment, and AMA member verification; you will receive an email confirmation indicating your request has been processed and membership is confirmed.
