New Membership Request
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Discover Flying R/C Club.
Please refer to the following helpful information.
Applicable to all Membership Types
- You must be a current member in good standing with the AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics).
- Upon receipt of application, payment and AMA member verification, you will receive email confirmation of your membership.
- Club membership runs annually through December 31.
- New members joining October 1 thru December 31; membership expires the following year December 31.
- Submit one application per member request.

Junior (to age 19)
Annual dues $25
One-time initiation $0
Application must be signed by parent / adult guardian
Members under 16 must be accompanied by parent during flying
Family
Annual dues (one adult and one junior) $125
One-time initiation (for adult) $50
Additional junior members $0

By submitting this application for membership applicant agrees to abide by the AMA National Safety Code, and, when applicable, any rules pertaining to the special interest groups of AMA, the Discover Flying R/C Club's constitution and by-laws, and all club field and safety rules and procedures, current, or as amended. Applicant further agrees for themselves and their guests, to waive all rights they may have arising under Massachusetts General laws,Ch.258,and to otherwise release, indemnify and to hold harmless, the Town of Barnstable, the Discover Flying R/C Club, Inc., its officers, and members from any and all claims, demands, actions, known and unknown, arising out of any and all activities pursuant to their club membership ,use of the flying field, or any other club arraigned facility.
